My life map to psychotherapy…
Early on, I recognised my own discomfort with parts of my life, I tried healing from the outside in, which proved temporary and fleeting.
After a time, I realised that healing had to come from within.
The real healing starts by stepping into the uncomfortable.
I began psychotherapy training in 2005. My first training was in Integrative Transpersonal models. I then studied Psychodynamic, Existential, and Cognitive Therapy. I have studied therapeutic approaches to relationship and couple therapy. I have trained in ancient meditation technique's to combat sleep issues, intrusive thoughts, repetitive ruminating over thinking, and generalised anxiety. I have an interest in philosophy and anthropology, although no expert.
I am curious into what makes us human and how we all evolve.
